Q: Is there a break in period for new injectors?
A: There's not a break in period. The only extra time you'll take when you put them in is to get the air out of the system. Around 200 miles.
Q: I have a early 99 ford f350. I'm swapping the motor with a 2000 with lower miles. I want the stage 1.5 injectors with tunes. The trans is auto. I'm upgrading the turbo also to stock 2000 with new wicked wheel or recommended. I'm wanting to make sure im correct before i order. Thanks for your time.
A: These injectors will work for your truck.
Q: Will the stage 1.5 injectors work on a 2000 F550 7.3 with a Bully Dog Tuner.
A: The injectors will work in the F550 but you'll have to choose a TS or Hydra chip with them. We can't put injector tunes on you Bullydog chip.
Q: Will the stage 1.5 injectors work on my 2000 f250 7.3 with an Edge juice w/ attitude tuner? If i need a chip, is it ok to run in conjunction with the edge tuner?
A: You would want to remove the tune. You can use it for gauges however.
Q: Do I need to upgrade my hpop for these injectors?
A: A stock HPOP that is operating at 85% or better capacity should keep these injectors fed.
Q: How long is the warranty on your injectors?
A: 18 Months - Unlimited Miles
Q: When I add the Chip option, Does the chip come from that company? With every thing they sell it with? Like JeliBuilt will sell it with their sticker and a Hydra sticker too, and the cleaning supplies and extension cable. Thank you
A: The Chip will come from us with the Jelibuilt tunes. Our sticker. Extension cable is extra.
Q: I have a stock rebuilt trans to my knowledge and I wanna order the 180cc injectors and the ts 6 pos chip is the ts chip option the 6 position? And will I need head studs with this upgrade?
A: Yes the TS is 6 positions. No you won't need head studs until you reach 500HP.
Q: Have anything to explain the difference in tuning chips ya? Hydra? Jeli donut I’m confused
A: The chips in the drop downs are all for the injectors on the page you are looking at. The Hydra and TS with standard injector tuning is just that. They come tuned for a stock transmission and the injectors on the page.
The custom tunes are from three different companies. Jelibuilt, 1023 Diesel, and Gearhead Automotive. These tunes are custom written for your truck modifications. Most importantly is a built automatic transmission with a modified valve body. These tunes are more refined and utilize the latest tuning techniques.
Q: I have a 1999 Ford F-250 7.3 Single Cab 2WD with a 6 position chip, about 379,000 miles on it. What set of injectors do you recommend I put on it without over passing the capacity of the pistons ? How much more HP will it give my truck ?
A: There are a lot more variables to consider when choosing injectors. For instance what do you use the truck for? How much power do you seek? What are you modifications now? So you'd need to call in (615)962-8291 and let the sales team help you.
Q: Would I need to upgrade anything else along with this purchase? My truck is a manual and practically fully stock.
A: It really depends on your truck. You could potentially need a clutch or hpop. These are designed to work with a stock truck and turbo.
Q: I have a 2000 7.3 and I’m just wonder what the difference between the different tunes is.
A: You can see the difference in the tunes in our custom tunes section. Standard injector tunes are just for injectors. Complete custom tuning are available from 1023 Diesel, Gearhead Automotive, or Jelibuilt Performance.
Q: I will be ordering these in a month or so.Im in Colorado at or above 8000 ft asl .I have about every upgrade available terminator hpop,gtp38 r,triple disc torque converter, frx crossover,Afe intake,6 liter tranny cooler.7.3 liter with 195,000 miles.I tow a lot.I need to keep egt down pulling passes.Do I order 180 cc or the 160 cc 1.5 injectors
A: You'll go with the 180cc. We would highly recommend Low Smoke Gearhead Tunes for you modifications and your altitude.
Q: I live in Colorado and go up to the mountains a lot. Will the 180cc work fine? My truck is 100% stock. Also how long do o have till the core has to be returned.
A: At that elevation we would recommend stepping down to the stage 1 injectors on a stock truck. We also recommend custom tuning for the high altitude.
Q: I have a 1995 with an intake, down pipe, riff raff wicked wheel and a completely rebuilt transmission with heavy duty torque converter.I live at 1100 feet elevation and am looking to tow about 8000 lbs. what options should I go with?
A: These injectors would be a good option for you. We recommend at least a Pyrometer to keep your eyes on the EGT's when towing.
Q: Looking at the 1.5 stage injectors they have a 18month warranty, if something goes wrong does that cover labor and any other damage that might happen ?
A: Only the injectors are covered under the warranty.
Q: If I am planning on an upgraded transmission when the stock one goes out. Should I order with the modified valve body option now.
A: What that does is take the electronic part of the shifting pressure increase out of the tune. It's probably best to wait until you upgrade then return your chip then. If you pick it now you will have soft shifts and it will cause the transmission to go out much faster. If you don't have a chip yet you should choose the Hydra so the tunes can be emailed to you.
Q: How does sending in your chip work?
A: If you have a TS or Hydra you send it to us and we reflash it.
Q: i have a 6 position ts tuner with just the standard tunes. my question is will those tunes work with your stage 1.5 injectors?
2001 f-250 7.3 stock automatic trans
A: No they don't. We give a free reflash when you purchase injectors however.
Q: I have an 02 7.3l, the motor work I have done is a slightly upgraded turbo, 4"straight pipe, s.s. up pipes, and k&n cold air intake. I just put in a stage 3 ATS automatic trans from sinister diesel. Which chip would you recommend I get with the 180cc injectors?
A: You'll need to get one of the custom tuned Hydra chips to make your transmission and injectors work the best.
