Q: You say you “offer” low smoke tuning. If I send in my ts chip do I automatically get a “low smoke” tune? Or can I still get the normal/max amount of smoke
A: We "offer" low smoke tuning as an upgraded paid option. Standard tuning will have smoke.
Q: whats the best nozzle 80 or 100?
A: The best nozzle really depends on what you want. In a nutshell the 80% nozzle has less smoke and about 10hp less.
Q: I already have a hydra tuner will i need to get difrent tunes or will the ones included with the chip work? Also will i need to upgrade my fuel system when i install the injectors or can i wait till i upgrade my turbo?
A: You'll need to upgrade the tuning. We offer that free for our customers. With stage 2 injectors on the OBS you'll need a fuel system upgrade. You can run it now and upgrade later but you will be down on power by a large margin.
Q: What’s the heaviest load recommended for this injector?
A: This question really depends on your truck modifications. If you have modified the turbo system and intercooler system you could potentially tow max GVW. It also depends on your elevation. Call our sales team for more information.
Q: I have a 96’ model truck that is automatic and has intake, intercooler and exhaust on it. My question is which injector setup would be best fitted for this as a daily driver, without loosing a lot of fuel economy maybe adding some and also wanting to get power gains out of it. I plan to put a bigger turbo and the e-fuel eventually and Want to keep whatever sticks I buy in there. I was looking at stage 2s but want yalls opinion. Thank you.
A: We recommend for the you the Stage 1.5 if you tow much or the 205cc Hybrid injector if your are looking for a faster street truck. Both need a fuel system and a turbo upgrade.
Q: I was just wondering if these will work with a stock superduty HPOP or if an aftermarket pump is needed and if I would be better off running stage 1.5 injectors if i wanted to use the stock pump. Thanks
A: Your stock pump will work hard to feed these injectors. It's possible to use your current pump but if you have any pressure loss now from that pump then it'll have some issues keeping up. We could use an adrenaline with these injectors or back down to the Stage 1.5 Injectors and keep the stock pump.
Q: With the jelibuilt tuned hydra is that a custom tune? I have a KC upgraded stock turbo with a 300 wheel, intercooled and upgraded to stage 1 HPOP and billet intake plenums.
A: Yes the Jelibuilt are completely custom tunes for your modifications.
Q: How does the sezzle work and is that a actual company ?
A: Sezzle works in 4 equal payments from your checking account. Yes it's an actual company.
Q: I'm buying a set of full force injectors off someone. Is there anyway to tell that they are what size he says they are? Or do you mark them or record the numbers on them.
A: We don't mark our injectors externally. You can give us a call with the solenoid numbers and the original purchasers name and we can look it up that way.
Q: I’m building an intercooled 7.3 for mainly towing (42’ goose full load 20k) with irate diesels t4 conversion (s366sxe) and their full electric fuel system, should I use the 80 or 100% nozzles with the 180cc injector? This is my first diesel project so just wanted to check before I buy. Thank you!
A: We like the 80% nozzles for less smoke and better atomization.
Q: I have a kcturbos balanced assembly in my truck would that be a big enough turbo upgrade or do I need a whole new bigger turbo
A: We'd recommend the stage 1.5
Q: I have a e-fuel system that holds constant at 60 psi, and i'm planning a BD Thruster 2 turbo (1047500) with intercooler and 4" exhaust and ebpv delete. We tow occasionally (4-6 ton hay loads on gooseneck flatbed) up a pretty steep hill at about 2300' elevation. About how much horsepower can these support, and would you recommend these or something else? Thanks
A: The stage 1.5 injectors would be better for heaving towing.
Q: I’m planning on buying 180cc 100% injectors and planning on doing a turbo upgrade in the future but was wondering if my stock fuel system would handle them. 1995 F-350 manual.
A: If you plan to stay with a stock fuel system you should go down to the stage 1.5 injectors.
Q: What fuel pump do you recommend for the stage 2 160cc injectors with 100% nozzle
A: You'll need a full E Fuel System.
Q: I have e-fuel, but a stock turbo. Are the 2's too much for me? I need to replace my injectors so I figured I'd try and squeeze a little more power out. Daily driver, very rare I'll tow. Don't mind a little smoke. Thanks
A: Max you should go is the stage 1.5 but we recommend at least an intercooler.
Q: I already have 160/80 in my truck, i only need 1 injector, any chance i could buy just one?
A: Yes you can if you give us a call. 615-962-8291
Q: Would headstuds be required with the 180/100 injectors and stage 2 kcturbo also banks intercooler, irate e fuel and jelibuilt tunes?
Q: Will I need a custom tune to put these in my obs I have a 6 position chip installed
A: Yes. The flow rates need to be adjusted on the chip programs.
Q: Kc300x stage 2 with a .84 A/R housing and evbp delete, e fuel capable of constant 70 psi with plans on an intercooler but stock hpop. Can I run 180/80’s with this setup or would I be better off with 180/30’s
A: 180/30 are a better option
Q: i am going to be doing a lot of work to my 95 7.3 like stage 2 cam, springs, pistons, head studs, inter cooler, transmission upgrades, and have i have a upgraded stock turbo, bpv delete strait pipe and a PHP chip, my question is can i get away with putting 205 injectors in with out getting a bigger turbo or should i dial it back to the stage 1.5?
A: Really depends on what stock upgraded means. If it stock air flow then stage 1.5. It need to be a larger turbo for the 205.
