Description:
This is a journal bearing turbo with a Borg Warner 300sxe Style turbine wheel, modified to fit inside a drop in ready Super Duty turbo.
This turbo will surprise you at how well it runs! We have torture tested it for longevity, proven its capability on the dyno and at the Race Track. The .84 A/R housing will provide a quicker spool and cooled EGT's below 3000 RPMs.
**EXHAUST BRAKES:
We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking. This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended. It will be up to the customer to verify fitment and functionality.**

Nice Turbo. I already had the suggested upgrades(tuner,bellowed up pipes,ebpv deleted pedetal, intake). So stock injectors are still in the motor. But the install was truly drop in. Everything went back together without modification except for connecting the crank case vent. It set about an inch too high. So I just siliconed a pipe fitting with male threads on one end and a barbed hose fitting on the other. The nipple from the intake fit right down inside the male threads. It is definitely a performance upgrade. I haven't had the chance to drive it around and check any numbers like mileage, just romped on it going between the shop and the house and it builds more boost and seams to sit you back in the seat. I'm definitely happy with it. I was worried that with stock injectors it wouldn't spool up, but the ts6 must've helped with that because it doesn't seem to be a problem. I can't wait to tow with it and see how much it helps with lowering the egt's. I upgraded the turbo wheel in the stock turbo, but it squealed at high rpm's. So since I was going to upgrade eventually anyway, I decided to go ahead and try it without upgrading the injectors at the same time. And it runs good. I'm definitely happy with my purchase.

KC300X .84
Replaced my 38r and not disappointed. I’m running FFD 205/30 hybrids with Jelibuilt tunes. This turbo really fits the package. Exhaust whistle sounds great and can noise from intake is much quieter.
