This turbo will surprise you at how well it runs! We have torture tested it for longevity, proven its capability on the dyno and at the Race Track. The 1.0 A/R Housing is intended to cool your egt's above 3000 RPMS, for dedicated tow rigs and daily drivers the .84 A/R housing will provide a quicker spool and cooled EGT's below 3000 RPMs.
**EXHAUST BRAKES:
We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking. This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended. It will be up to the customer to verify fitment and functionality.**
**Two week lead time on all polished covers**

This turbo is incredible
I have a 97 F250 7.3 with the following supporting mods. Built trans, S&B cold air intake, 4” turbo back straight pipe, TS6 chip, Full Force diesel boost fooler, and the Banks intercooler system. This turbo is incredible. I had initially upgraded the stock turbo with a wheel and 360* bearing. With the intercooler it simply would not push the cfm’s to power the engine with the added volume of the intercooler. This stage 2 turbo dropped my EGTs 200-250 degrees, gave me the power that this engine has always been wanting. I have solid power through the entire rpm range. Must be at least a 75+ horsepower gain. The whistle is intoxicating. With the previous turbo I had terrible boost surge, the porting on this turbo fixed that. I haven’t been able to get the mpg yet but this turbo should put me over 20+ mpg. I highly recommend this turbo to anyone. It’s the turbo you wish you always had. Again, this turbo is incredible.

KC300x (stage 2)
I installed this turbo in anticipation of an injector upgrade (180/30's with a Hydra) on my '97. Currently running stock AB's with Edge tuner. I LOVE THIS TURBO! At the lower settings it felt just a little better than stock, but on the higher tunes it came alive (needed more fuel). More boost (low 30's). Much faster spooling. Almost no smoke (stock turbo was very smokey on the higher tunes). Improved mileage (+1-2). More power everywhere. Pulls much harder through upshifts. Did this along with a pedestal delete and bellowed up-pipes (all from FFD) and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. If you've been contemplating this upgrade, just do it! Full Force Diesel is great to deal with. Super fast shipping, quick to get back to you, best prices I could find for quality parts. Next comes the intercooler!!!

Q:
This kc300 stage 2 how much boost can it make as i dont want to put too much boost on my engine
Asked by:
Richard
- 5/25/2021
A:
This turbo can provide up to 40 psi but that is all depends on your trucks fueling. You will need big injectors to reach that potential PSI. The engine can withstand up to 40 PSI before any upgrades are needed.

Q:
Can I run this turbo with 238/80 injectors
Asked by:
Robert
- 1/11/2023
A:
It's a bit too small for those injectors. 205/30 is as big as you should consider with this turbo.

Q:
So I am looking to do a few months to my 300,000 mile 1997 73 power stroke. To start, I was going to get stage two injectors, and a hydra tuner and eventually get a stage two turbo. When the time comes that I add the turbo, do I have to reprogram the tuner? Also, being where my truck is high miles if I get stage two injectors should I get 80 or 100% nozzles and 160 or 180 cc, finally, would this be a good set up for my truck or do I risk blowing up my truck? Thank you
Asked by:
Brayden Audet
- 9/17/2023
A:
The tuner only need retuned for injectors. Typically an OBS needs extra modifications to run stage 2 injectors. Give our sales team a call and they can walk you through it. 615-962-8291
