Q: Are the 1.0 & .84 housings interchangeable on this turbo ?
Q: This kc300 stage 2 how much boost can it make as i dont want to put too much boost on my engine
A: This turbo can provide up to 40 psi but that is all depends on your trucks fueling. You will need big injectors to reach that potential PSI. The engine can withstand up to 40 PSI before any upgrades are needed.
Q: What would be the ideal injectors to match with this kc stage 2 63/73 if I plan to daily drive and tow mild to moderately on occasion? Mostly daily driving and doing some hauls but only towing a handful of times per year (5-10)
My current upgrades:
*3" downpipe to 4" straight pipe (ca keeping cat)
*irate e fuel
A: 180/30% Stage 1.5 would be a great fit for you.
Q: I would like to run this turbo plus 180/30%injectors plus jelibiult custom tunes would I need headstuds or would my head bolts and head gasket hold up
A: Head studs not needed.
Q: I have a 95 7.3 and it’s tuned and cold air intake and a 4 inch exhaust is this turbo to big I pull with the truck and can’t decide if I want a stage 1 or 2 bc I wanna still be able to spool it good and pull some loads with it
A: Stage 1 180cc would match that turbo well and tow well.
Q: I don't know what CCV boot to get for my truck, is there a way to check and see which one I need to get?
A: If you look a the picture you can determine which one you have.
Q: Can I run this turbo with 238/80 injectors
A: It's a bit too small for those injectors. 205/30 is as big as you should consider with this turbo.
Q: So I am looking to do a few months to my 300,000 mile 1997 73 power stroke. To start, I was going to get stage two injectors, and a hydra tuner and eventually get a stage two turbo. When the time comes that I add the turbo, do I have to reprogram the tuner? Also, being where my truck is high miles if I get stage two injectors should I get 80 or 100% nozzles and 160 or 180 cc, finally, would this be a good set up for my truck or do I risk blowing up my truck? Thank you
A: The tuner only need retuned for injectors. Typically an OBS needs extra modifications to run stage 2 injectors. Give our sales team a call and they can walk you through it. 615-962-8291
