Core returns:
To receive core credit, a Forged Rod (like for like) must be returned. We do not accept any other connecting rod as in a PMR (Powder Metal Rod) found in some 2001 and all 2002-2003 year model engines.

It mentions the core charge set by ford? Does that mean there isnt a core charge? If there is how much is it?

A:
The core charge is built into the product price. If you have cores you'll need to call. The core charge is $200. Most don't have cores because they are swapping out the powdered metal rods.

It would be nice to buy eight connecting rods for under one hundred dollars, but that's not the case here. Price each.

With these rods being remans, if I buy all 8 at one time are they close in weight to each other or do I still need to get them balanced? Thanks.

All of the rods will be very similar in weight. We do however recommend having your bottom end balanced with the rod and piston assemblies that you will be using.
