Pedestal Delete Kit

Benefits from removing the EBPV entirely in the 7.3 Powerstroke can free up power and stop the EBPV leak permanently. This 7.3 EBPV delete kit contains the parts necessary to delete the EBPV valve or often referred to as the warm up valve from the turbo. The valve open during normal operation but in the coldest climates in will close periodically to aid in warming the engine faster. Deleting this valve is common and doesn't affect normal operations of the truck. This kit contains Non EBPV pedestal and flange on the exhaust adapter.

This is a complete comprehensive kit for the DIY removal of the EBPV valve. Fits 1999.5-2003 7.3 Powerstroke. When the exhaust back pressure valve leaks you have to either replace it or remove it. The leak drains down the back of the engine onto your driveway or the ground. The easiest is to removed it completely with this kit and never have the problem again. You will get a soft code on the ECM which does not affect performance or does not set the SES or CES light. Bellowed Up Pipe Kit

New 7.3 up pipes are an effective permanent upgrade to completely cure the factory up pipe gasket leaks. Symptoms of leaking up pipes are a ticking noise coming through the firewall, loss of power, and excessive black smoke. The best part of the bellowed up pipes is the expandable section molded into the system for heat contraction. This solves the factory problem of separation and leaking from the factory compression ring.

When the factory OEM pipes are disturbed (moved) the time aged hardened gaskets loose the seal and start leaking. This leak becomes larger over time and can result in substantial power losses. When the engine air that drives the turbo is lost, the turbo efficiency and boost pressure drop off substantially. If they turbo isn't driven with the proper flow it can't produce power producing boost. The permanent fix is the bellowed portion of the up pipe kit. The factory gasket is eliminated and to compensate for the expansion of the pipe through the heating cycle, the bellows can infinitely contract and expand. This expansion maintains the new permanent seal and you don't have to worry with this leak ever again.

All gaskets and hardware included.

Good but...

So everything fit everything worked.. was pretty easy my inky complaint Is the pedestal.... the inside of the casting is rough... like run a Dremel in It first to knock off the loose flash ...rough, amd one kf the turbo hold down bolt holes was stripped out of the box..

Good products!

I installed these parts on my 2000 7.3 and they fit great! When I received them they had a few small dings and scratches but not bad enough I wasn’t gonna install them! The up pipes definitely took care of my exhaust leak and the exhaust outlet and delete pedestal both fit great and have had no issues in the few hundred miles they been in there!

Very good product for the price

Very good product for the price not cheap made and everything was a very good quality, I have put 230 something miles on them and have zero leaks, and that’s with daily driving and on the drag strip very easy to line up and install on the turbo and I’m extremely happy with them
