Questions and Answers
New 7.3 up pipes are an effective permanent upgrade to completely cure the factory up pipe gasket leaks. Symptoms of leaking up pipes are a ticking noise coming through the firewall, loss of power, and excessive black smoke. The best part of the bellowed up pipes is the expandable section molded into the system for heat contraction. This solves the factory problem of separation and leaking from the factory compression ring.
When the factory OEM pipes are disturbed (moved) the time aged hardened gaskets loose the seal and start leaking. This leak becomes larger over time and can result in substantial power losses. When the engine air that drives the turbo is lost, the turbo efficiency and boost pressure drop off substantially. If they turbo isn't driven with the proper flow it can't produce power producing boost. The permanent fix is the bellowed portion of the up pipe kit. The factory gasket is eliminated and to compensate for the expansion of the pipe through the heating cycle, the bellows can infinitely contract and expand. This expansion maintains the new permanent seal and you don't have to worry with this leak ever again.
All gaskets, bolts and hardware are included.

Up pipes
Very nice for the price, the fit great no leaks. The trick is to bolt the passenger side tight to the y first using old pipes as a reference. The put the driver's side pipe on loosely in the truck then put the bolts in the manifolds but don't put the nuts on. Now mount the turbo, and snugg the clamp and tighten everything up you might have to pull down on the passenger side pipe a little to get the nuts started, that's the easiest I have found to do it

Decent pipes for the money
These pipes do not fit as good as the International pipes.Had some issues leaking at driver side manifold, did not seat up centered. After some adjustments and some muffler paste all is good for now.

Wish there would have been some instructions to go along with the kit, just to guide a first time through the correct steps along with some helpful hints and tips.

Pipe layer
Great product and great price. I had my trans out so that was a big advantage but bolted up great. I read the bolts were tight and that some use the oem instead. No issue there the new hardware worked fine I assume ppl having issues there put the bolts in backwards opposed to the way it was factory. Did a full force pedestal kit at the same time all went smoothly great parts
