Q: Can’t really tell the difference between the premium and non premium kit for the EBPV kit. They both come with the delete pedestal and exhaust outlet from Garrett correct? What’s the difference?
A: The Premium kit has Garrett parts with the Alliant Power installation kit. The standard kit has FFD parts.
Q: Is this pedestal the same height as the factory pedestal? Does the FFD High Flow Outlet, fit a factory garrett turbo on a 2000 f350 7.3?
Q: How does this affect your truck in a cold climate will it start with out the valve closing
A: Yes. The valve is only designed for faster warm up.
Q: Hello, I am wondering if this kit has the isolator pigtail that you will need to avoid getting a SES code or check engine light after deleting the valve.
I was going to buy it separately but it is out of stock for a 2001 Super Duty 7.3. I want to go through with the EBPV delete but do not want to buy the kit if I can’t get the (fooler) isolator connector with it. Do you know when one will be available if it’s not included with the kit?
A: It's not included but sold separately. There isn't a SES light after the EBPV delete. You can just tie the plug out of the way if you choose.
