Q: I have an Early 1999 7.3 Powerstroke and want to upgrade to a 17-degree high pressure oil pump which I think should be your part # boshpoo8xhp008x however when I pick Early 1999 for a year group your part number changes to boshpoo8xhp007x which I’m afraid is a 15-degree swash plate. Which part should I order? Can I order a boshpoo8xhp008x to upgrade and then send my old 15-degree back in and get my core charge back? Thanks for your time!

A: To upgrade to the 17 degree HPOP choose the 99.5-02 year group.

A: The correct part numbers are the ones you stated but if you would like to upgrade with a direct bolt on get the 8X
