203 degree Diesel Site DS203 Thermostat Upgrade
Using the 203 degree thermostat in the 7.3 Powerstroke can improve the performance by allowing the engine to reach optimal thermal efficiency. The OEM thermostat was set at a 195 degree operating temperature cause the engine to never reach optimal temperature. The 205 degree temperature potentially increase horse power and fuel mileage. If you need a thermostat then upgrading for a few more dollars makes sense to any 7.3 Powerstroke owner. Combine this thermostat with the billet housing to get the longest life and best performance.
